Kaylee Rutland – “Do You”

Kaylee Rutland’s latest release “Do You” is a positive and uplifting piece that came from Rutland’s desire to deliver a positive message to her younger sister as well as all of her younger listeners and fans. Co-written with three time Grammy nominee and longtime producer/mentor, Jamie O’Neal, along with Minnie Murphy “Do You” is intended to encourage young women that going outside the “status-quo” is something to be celebrated.

Kaylee preimered the video last week on Popculture.com, and described it’s importance to her in an interview with the blog: “‘Do You’ is very special to me. My younger sister, Madie, who was 13 years old at the time, was my inspiration for this song. She reminded me so much of myself at that age and of all the other young women who struggle with insecurities and finding self-confidence from within. I wanted to write a song to remind Madie of just how incredible she is and to remind young women everywhere that the best thing we can do is to simply celebrate who we are and to be ourselves, rather than trying to fit into a mold of what we think others expect.”

The new video for the single focuses on a group of four girls who were best childhood friends, but had grown apart due to life circumstances. After they each receive a special invitation they are soon reunited after all these years and are back to having fun together like nothing had changed – the way good friends always do.

The Cains Trio – Be Yourself With Me

Not too long after learning how to talk, the Cain siblings were harmonizing with each other.
