AristoMedia tips 1-okt-2016

Sara Collins – “Lovesick Cinderella”

Sara Collins is a vocalist and multi-intrumentalist from Louisiana who is quickly making a name for herself in the Country music scene. She kicked off her career with a performance at Carnegie Hall and has also performed at Nashville’s Opry Mills Mall, and the iconic Puckett’s Grocery in Tennessee. Her debut EP titled Lovesick Cinderella was produced by Britton Cameron and recorded at Lattitude Studio South. She is also supplementing the new EP with a brand new music video for the title track directed by award winning videographer Carl Diebold (Rascal Flatts, Gavin Degraw.)

‘Lovesick Cinderella’ is one of the first songs that I wrote for this record. It’s based on a true story about love at first sight and missed opportunities,” Collins said about the fairytale-influenced track. The track is acoustic based, and it highlights Collins’s beautiful vocals that have earned her performance slots on iconic stages. “Lovesick Cinderella” has a dreamy, magical vibe, mixing an old-school classic sound with modern production and lyrics.

Kurt Thomas – “Sweet”

Growing up in the tight-knit community of small town Dahlonega, GA, Kurt Thomas began pursuing a career in music after purchasing his first guitar for $80 from his high school friend and fellow musician Zac Brown. The two began playing together at local functions, and Kurt would eventually start his own band, Kurt Thomas and the Small Town Band. After winning Kenny Chesney’s Next Big Star contest and landing a spot opening for Chesney, Brooks & Dunn, Sammy Hagar, LeAnn Rimes, Gary Alan and Sugarland, Kurt went on to win CMT’s Music City Madness- a nationwide contest that lead to Kurt’s Unplugged Studio 330 session on CMT as well as a mentorship with Grammy-award winning singer, Randy Travis. He continues touring and playing shows all over the United states, and has just released the new music video for his latest single, “Sweet” which has already gotten over 5,000 plays on facebook and was even re-tweeted by his old friend Zac Brown!

Billy Ray Cyrus – “Thin Line”

Billy Ray is back with another amazing new video! “Thin Line” is the title track from his latest album release that he describes as a “balance between art and reality.” The clip was shot entirely on Cyrus’ expansive property in Middle Tenn. by director Blake Judd (Black Stone Cherry, Shooter Jennings, Thomas Rhett) and exposes faith, passion, and the power of music through Cyrus’ perspective. The music video offers viewers a peek into Cyrus’ southern home as he wanders through the spaces that flood with memories and the prized possessions in which inspire him—including a handwritten note from Johnny Cash in 1992.
